This is the cheesy post where I officially say “welcome to my blog”. It seems kind of pointless, but I suppose it’s good to get the formalities out of the way. I’d hate for any of you to call me uncivilized. There are plenty of better reasons to do that.
I’ve been wanting to start a personal blog for some time now. I do some writing over at SmoothFewFilms and GamerSushi, and it’s turned into something I wanted to do on a more personal level. Here, I’ll be talking about things that are generally awesome, including: nerdery, story, writing, faith, movies, video games, and perhaps even posting excerpts of my current projects, like the novel I’m working on or some of my short stories. Basically, this is the testing ground for my ideas, a place to bounce ideas into the net ether, and hopefully I’ll get something cool back from you guys. Yes, I am saying that you are the guinea pigs and/or dramatic chipmunks that I’ll be running through a word gauntlet.
What is my hope? To become a better writer, have cool discussions and maybe write something that is worth its weight in gil. To sum it up, I want to dish out Ultra Combos in writing form, a la Killer Instinct. Kind of like this:
I seriously need that “ultra (ultra ultra)” announcer to narrate everything I do. Let’s make this happen.
